Framed: Sanctuary

Framed: Sanctuary

from $140.00
I am finding sanctuary in revisiting, and painting again, some of the images that I lost when my instagram got wiped out. And I am listening to the song "Sanctuary" from the Nashville sound track, and thinking about the people AND practices that are my refuge when things are hard. In particular, I find that my morning practice of journaling is really helpful, and that my daily work in the studio is a mercy (sometimes joyous, sometimes severe) to me. Here is the refrain from the song "Sanctuary":

"Let me be your sanctuary, let me be your safe place to fall. I can take away your worries, the refuge from it all. Though this time we have together, is our shelter from the rain, I will share the weight you carry, let me be your sanctuary."
